On July 8, 2012, a light went out in the world. Amie Lynn Keenan of Danbury, Connecticut passed away. She was 31 years old, born August 3, 1980. She is survived by her mother and father Susan and Timothy Keenan; Her younger sister, Courtney; Her maternal grandparents, Phyllis and John Stein; Her paternal grandfather, Robert McGuiness; Her godparents Jody Hawreluk and Dicky Birdsell; and many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family members and friends. Amie graduated in 2004 from Danbury High School after performing in multiple school plays and being in the Madrigals. After high school she attended the Hartford Conservatory of Music. Also in her hobbies was coaching cheerleading for the Danbury Vikings and being enthusiastically involved with the organization Hat City Youth Sports. She was wonderful person to know as anyone who had known her will attest to. A wake will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home 134 Hamilton Ave. Greenwich, CT on Thursday July 12, 2012 from 4 pm to 8 pm. The funeral will be held the following day, July 13, 2012 at 10 am at Sacred Heart Church 95 Henry St. Greenwich, CT. All are welcome to come and pay their respects.
