ANNA B. NAPOLITANO
Anna B. Napolitano, 85, of Greenwich, CT died on Good Friday, April 7, 2023. She has been a long-time resident of Greenwich, CT. She was born in Westchester and moved to Greenwich, with her husband, Frank Napolitano, Jr. in 1963. She obtained her Doctorate in Educational Management, where she was a State Assessor for the State of CT in assessing and credentialing teachers and principals. She was also a Teacher Leader (Assistant Principal), and was an Elementary School Teacher and Teacher of the Talented and Gifted. Anna B. received her Sixth Year Degree. She also received her Masters degree from Manhattanville College with a straight A average, and her undergraduate degree from SUNY – Oswego. For over 20 years, Anna B. was employed as an educator in the Greenwich Public School System in Greenwich, CT. Anna B. would love attending daily Mass with her daughter, Anna P. and attending church activities. She loved to dance. Last year she and her daughter were lectors for Good Friday. A devoted mother, Anna B. Napolitano, is survived by her loving daughter, Anna P. of Greenwich, CT and of Westerly, RI, and by her loving two sons, Frank III and wife, Moira, of Greenwich, CT and Dominic M. of Darien, CT. She is survived by four grandchildren; Claire G., Thomas K., Ally M., and Sophie L. Napolitano. In addition she is survived by her older sister Marie B.Genteale of Greenwich, CT and her younger brother Orazio R. Bellantoni of Rye Brook, NY.. Friends may call Wednesday, April 12, 2023 from 4 to 8 pm in Castiglione Funeral Home, 544 Old Post Road #3, Greenwich, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. John and St. Mary Church, 30 Poillon Drive, Chappaqua, NY, followed by an internment at St Mary’s Cemetery, North Street, Greenwich, CT.
