1931 - 2022

Helen Frances Fox, age 91, passed away on September 17, 2022. Helen was born in Williston, Vermont to Julius and Mary (Cassidy) Tuure. Helen attended Cathedral High School and graduated from the University of Vermont’s Bishop DeGoesbriand Hospital School of Nursing. She was a registered nurse and worked for many years at Greenwich Hospital, Putnam Weaver Nursing Home and The Nathaniel Witherell. After retirement, Helen cared for her many grandchildren.

Helen was a loving, kind and caring mother and “Nana” to her large family. She was a devoted parishioner of Sacred Heart Parish in Greenwich. She volunteered for many years at the Knights of Columbus Annual Christmas Day Dinner with her husband, Edwin.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Edwin. She is survived by her children, Timothy (Lenore), Mark (Toni), Cheryl (Michael), Matthew (Leslie), Natalie (Mark), Theresa (Steve) and Brian (Lori); her grandchildren, Jason (Jerica), Laura, Jennifer (Justin), Drew, Jared (Caraline), Danielle (Brad), Allison (Michael), Michael (Nicole), Adam (Katherine), Christian (Jessica), Peter, Matthew, Ryan (Maddy), Justin, Jacob, Helen, Fisher, Abbygail, Sydney, Gabriella, Owen, William, Leah and Noelle; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Olivia, Penelope, Alana and Justin.

Helen was predeceased by her parents, sisters, Ann and Rita, her brothers, Donald, Alan, Phillip and Richard. She is survived by her brothers John and Daniel and sisters Ruth and Catherine. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers-in-law and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Services were private and provided by Castiglione Funeral Home, Inc.
