Obituary for Janina M Slomiana
We are saddened to announce the passing of Janina Slomiana of Greenwich, CT on July 13, 2022. Janina was born on March 14, 1940 in Odrzykoń, Poland to Maria and Stanisław Jucha.
She married her beloved husband Joseph (predeceased) in 1959 and moved to the United States, where they raised their two children Richard and Teresa. She was sister to Jozefa, Zofia (predeceased), Mieczysław, and Krystyna.
She enjoyed sewing, baking, gardening, polka dancing and most of all spending time with her cherished family.
Janina is survived by her son Richard (Lori), daughter Teresa Burhans (Walter), her two grandchildren Madison and Katelyn, and her family in Poland.
Janina will always be loved by all and remain in our memories forever.
The funeral will be privately held at St. Mary's Cemetery in Greenwich.
