Obituary for Theresa A Ambrose
Theresa (Chickanis) Ambrose, age 91 passed away peacefully on October 12th at Greenwich Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1930 to Gus & Ellen Chickanis. She married Greenwich Police Detective Vincent Ambrose, Sr who preceded her in death in 2010. Theresa was also predeceased by her siblings: Catherine, Thomas, Ray, George, Gus and Evelyn.
Theresa is survived by her children: Bonnie, Barbara (Carl) Ambrogio, Vinny & John. Her Grandchildren: Jennifer(Mike) Naughton, Lauren (Sebastian) Nuterangelo, Vince & J.J. She also has 5 great-grandchildren: Mikey, Grace & Stella Naughton and Sebby & Leo Nuterangelo. There are many nieces and nephews whom she loved as if they were her own.
Theresa was born and raised in Greenwich Conn. She worked at the register of voters in Greenwich and loved spending time at the beaches in town. But most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.
A Mass will be at St. Mary's Parish on Greenwich Ave
Oct. 21st. at 10:00 am and burial to follow at St. Mary's Cemetery
